Local Marching Band Selected To Play In NYC Macy's Parade
The local school was selected from a pool of 138 other universities to head to the Big Apple.
The West Chester Golden Rams Marching Band will perform in the Thanksgiving Day Macy’s Parade in New York City this Thursday.
The squad is one of just four teams selected from a pool of 138 universities to participate in the region’s landmark Turkey Day event.
On Tuesday, the band made a “formal departure” from the Swope Music Building to head to New York City.

Students lined up on campus to wave the band goodbye and bid them good luck on campus at noon Tuesday.
