Man Charged In Armed CVS Robbery In Glenside
Abington Police have arrested a 43-year-old Philadelphia man for the robbery on June 13.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A Philadelphia man has been charged with the armed robbery of the CVS store in Glenside last month, police said.
David Murray, 43, of Philadelphia, was arrested by Abington Police on Friday and charged with multiple felony offenses including robbery and firearms offenses.
Abington Police said that an armed robbery happened just before 7:30 a.m. on June 13 at the CVS Pharmacy at 2622 Jenkintown Road in the township's Glenside section.

Police said a man wearing a disposable medical mask had approched a store employee, displayed a handgun, and forced the employee to provide access to the store’s office area.
He then took cash from the safe and fled.

An investigation by Abington Police, the Philadelphia Police Department, and the FBI identified Murray as the suspect.
Murray was transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility where he was arraigned with bail set at $250,000.00 cash.
