Man Faces Up To 6 Years In Prison For Abington Shooting

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —A Philadelphia man has been sentenced for shooting a man in the leg in a domestic violence incident last year, authorities said.

Kaream Bundy, 46, of Philadelphia, will serve 2.5 to 6 years in prison and was ordered to have no contact with the victim as a condition of the sentence by a Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas Judge this week.

Bundy was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals Service last October and was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, terroristic threats, firearm violations, and other charges.

Authorities accused Bundy of shooting a man in the leg on the 1600 block of Washington Avenue.

Police found a man lying in the street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his legs.

With a homeowner's permission, they searched a nearby home, but could not find the suspect. They later discovered he had likely fled a vehicle before police arrived on the scene.

The victim was treated at Jefferson Abington Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
