Man Groomed Abington High School Student Before Sexual Assault: PD
Abington Police have charged a 25-year-old man for raping a student who allegedly let him into the high school twice.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A 25-year-old man faces rape charges involving a student who allegedly let him into Abington Senior High School twice.
The Abington Township Police Department have charged 25-year-old Raeem Grange-Allen who they say allegedly engaged in a pattern of grooming behavior with the victim over a period of time before sexually assaulting her.
Grange-Allen was arrested on June 18 and charged with multiple offenses, including rape and statutory sexual assault.

Grange-Allen was arraigned before District Judge Todd Stephens, with bail was set at $250,000 cash. He was sent to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility pending further court proceedings.
The Abington School District is reviewing security protocols following two breaches in March.

Schools Superintendent Jeffrey Fecher said police found that the victim, on two different dates in March, had opened a back door in the high school to let the man in during the school day.
Police are still investigating the incident.
