Metropolitan Ballet Academy Summer Intensive 2014

This intermediate and advanced level program for students ages 10-18 offers the opportunity to work with some of the most renowned teachers and dancers in the area and beyond.  Classes are offered in ballet technique, men's technique, pointe, variations, partnering, modern and jazz. 

Special guest artists for Classical Ballet instruction include Laura Alonso (Ballet Nacional de Cuba, daughter of world famous ballerina Alicia Alonso), Andre Reyes (San Francisco Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, currently on faculty at Pittsburg Ballet), Julie Dana and Zachary Hench (Principal Dancers, Pennsylvania Ballet).

Classes take place July 7th- August 15th, Monday- Friday, 9:30am-4:00pm, each day. Dancers may attend any or all weeks. The 5-week tuition rate for Intermediate and Advanced students is $1175, weekly rate is $395.  Beginner program tuition (ages 7-10, July 7th-18th) is $185-300.  For information please call 215-663-1665 or email collinsvidnovic@verizon.net.
