Montco Man Admits Sharing Child Porn Taken At Dorney Park

A Montgomery County man has pleaded guilty to sharing child pornography filmed in Dorney Park.

A Montgomery County man has reportedly pleaded guilty to sharing child pornography filmed at Dorney Park.

Kurt Eichert, 52, of Wyndmoor, pleaded guilty to charges that he possessed, edited and then shared child pornography that was filmed in the park, according to the Morning Call.

Eichert had been accused of filming children changing at Dorney Park for more than a decade, United States Attorney Zane David Memeger said in December, when he was arrested.

The indictment alleges that from June 2005 to about September 2015, Eichert produced child pornography from images used at the park.

“Eichert is alleged to have surreptitiously recorded children changing their clothes in Dorney Park,” Memeger said.

Eichert is also charged with distributing child pornography in May 2015 and possessing images of child pornography in September 2015.

He faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison with a maximum possible sentence of 80 years, authorities said.

The case was investigated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Abington Township Police Department.

Sentencing has been set for Oct. 13.
