Montgomery County Industrial Site To Be Transformed To Public Space: Report

"There's always been mystery with this site."

An industrial site in Montgomery County is going to be transformed into a ”multiuse commercial campus” that will include open public space.

The former 25-acre campus of chemical giant BASF, just blocks from downtown Ambler, will be named Ambler Yards, according to the Times Herald.

“There’s always been security, there’s always been a mystery with this site, so we’re looking to open it up to show people that it is an industrial site, but as we do some of these improvements it’s going to be a public space that people can freely walk through, that people can take advantage of the things we have to offer,” business partner and organizer of the transformation, Matt Sigel, told the Times Herald.
