Month-Long Lane Closure Impacting Traffic On Abington Road
PennDOT said PECO utility work will force weekday lane closures on an Abington Township road through late April.
ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A portion of eastbound Old Welsh Road in Abington Township will have weekday lane closures through late April, according to PennDOT.
The closures will begin Thursday and last through Friday, April 28 for PECO utility work, PennDOT said.
Lane closures will be in place weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The affected portion of eastbound Old Welsh Road/Route 63 is between Huntingdon and Marian roads, according to PennDOT.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
