Months-Long Closure Impacting Abington Township Road

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A weekday lane closure will affect traffic on an Abington Township road for two months, according to PennDOT.

Aqua Pennsylvania will be doing utility construction on Moreland Road/Route 63 now through Thursday, Nov. 30.

On weekdays, the road will be closed in both directions between Fitzwatertown Road and Dallas Road in Abington and Upper Moreland townships.

The closure will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
