New Ice Cream Shop Opening In Jenkintown

JENKINTOWN, PA —A new ice cream shop makes its debut in the borough on Saturday.

Grandma Jannah’s Ice Cream Parlor will hold its grand opening Saturday at the former Bilal’s Bakery Deli at 723 West Ave.

The grand opening is from Noon to 7 p.m. and will feature face paint, balloon animals, and all the ice cream you can eat.

The ice cream parlor is co-owned by Jamela Yahiaoui and Ahmad Watson.

The business will operate from Noon to 6 p.m. on weekdays, Noon to 8 p.m. on weekends, and Fridays from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The shop's slogan is: "Indulge in Timeless Delights Where Every Scoop Tells a Story."

Shop owners say on their website that they will be committed to quality and customer satisfaction.
