New School Year Begins In Abington Twp.: Photos
Abington and Jenkintown welcomed students back to school for the first day of the 2024-2025 new year on Tuesday.
ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Students returned to schools in Abington and Jenkintown Tuesday as the new 2024-2025 school year got underway.
"We couldn't be more excited to welcome all our students, teachers, and staff back to school. This year is extra special as we kick off the celebration of our 150th anniversary," The Jenkintown School District said in a Facebook post.
"The School District of Jenkintown has been dedicated to providing educational excellence, nurturing young minds, and fostering a strong community. Here's to another fantastic year filled with learning, growth, and unforgettable memories," Jenkintown school officials said. "Let's make our 150th year the best one yet."
