North Hills Avenue Stretch Closed In Abington Twp.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —A section of North Hills Avenue is closed Monday afternoon due to the weather, police said.

The Abington Township Police Department said that North Hills Avenue between Old Welsh Road and Kimball Avenue will be temporarily closed due to a fallen tree.

Police are asking motorists and residents to avoid the area.

Meanwhile, Abington Township officials said Monday that due to the high winds, the walking path at Alverthorpe Park is closed on Monday.

The rest of the park remains open and accessible, officials said.
