Notable Alums Inducted Into Abington High School Hall Of Fame
6ABC's Katie Katro and Robin Arzon of Peloton fame, both alumnae, were on hand to speak with Abington Senior High School students last week.
ABINGTON, PA — More than a dozen new members were inducted into the Abington Senior High School Hall of Fame last week.
Fourteen graduates of the school were inducted into the hall of fame, and many later visited students to discuss career paths and impart wisdom on students.
Two notable alumnae who were inducted are 6ABC reporter Esther "Katie" Katro and Peloton VP of Fitness Programming and Instructor Robin Arzon.

Below is the 2023 Hall of Fame inductee class:
- Robin Amelia Arzón, Class of 1999 in the field of Athletics
- Richard A. Blank, Class of 1991 in the field of Business
- Kenneth E. Davis, Class of 1962 in the field of Business
- John Duda, M.D., Class of 1965 in the field of Science
- Zorach “Zory” Glaser, Ph.D., M.P.H., CSPDM, Class of 1958 in the field of Science
- D. Gregory Holt, Class of 1964 in the field of Government
- Esther “Katie” Katro, Class of 2011 in the field of the Arts
- Robert Kesselman, Class of 1975 in the field of the Arts
- Marsha Kline Pruett, MSL, Ph.D., ABPP, Class of 1978 in the field of Education
- Marguerite Herrmann Sexton, Class of 1960 in the field of Service
- Mark R. Weaver, Class of 1979 in the field of Government
- John A. Worthington, Class of 1960 in the field of Education
Additionally, the Hall of Fame Committee and the Abington Senior High School Alumni Association honored Robert E. Bryant, Class of 1965 in the field of Athletics, and Margaret “Peggy” Hamlin Malone, Class of 1960 in the field of Service, posthumously.

Every four years, the Alumni Association, in partnership with Committee members at the high school, open a call for nominations.
Alumni, current or former employees, students and the broader community then nominate a graduate for consideration.
Other notable alums to be inducted into the Hall of Fame include legendary comedian and sitcom actor, Bob Saget (1974); chef and founder of the critically acclaimed Vetri Cucina, Marc Vetri (1985); and two-time Olympic gold medalist, Susan Francia (2000).
