Oven Fire Reported At La Voglia Restaurant
The Huntingdon Valley Fire Company responded to the fire after a vehicle rescue earlier on Tuesday.

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA —An oven fire at a restaurant and a vehicle rescue kept the Huntingdon Valley Fire Company busy on Tuesday.
The fire company was dispatched for an oven fire at La Voglia Restaurant on Byberry Road at 9:03 p.m. Tuesday.
Engine 8 reported the fire was extinguished by the kitchen sprinkler system, fire officials said.

Crews checked for extension and assisted with clean up in the kitchen. Additional units on scene included Squad 11, Ladder 95, and Medic 355.
There were no injuries and no damage to the rest of the restaurant.

Earlier in the day, fire crews were dispatched at 4:32 p.m. for a vehicle accident rescue at Byberry Road and Huntingdon Pike.
The crash involved a panel truck and a small SUV, which was on its side. Crews rescued the driver by cutting out the moon roof.
The driver was treated and transported to the hospital by medic 355. Units on the scene included Squad 8, Engine 8, Squad 11 and Fire Police 8 and 11.
