Paving Work Affecting Traffic On Abington Road Next Week

PennDOT said paving work will impact traffic during the nighttime and day time next week on an Abington Township road.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Old Welsh Road in Abington Township will have lane closures next week due to paving work, PennDOT said.

Lane closures will be in place Sunday through Friday on Old Welsh Road between Route 63/Edge Hill Road and Fitzwatertown Road.

A lane closure is planned from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning, this Sunday.

And then Monday through Friday, a lane closure will be in place from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because slowdowns will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
