'Peaceful' Protest Planned In Abington On Saturday

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A “People’s Neighborhood Protest” is scheduled to take place on Saturday on Old York Road, organizers said.

Abington For Peace is asking residents to join Indivisible Greater Jenkintown and Community For Change for the peaceful protest at 1475 Old York Road from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (weather permitting) on Saturday. See flyer below

"The snow is finally melting, and temperatures are rising, so we hope to have a great turnout," Abington For Peace said. "So gather your signs, your friends, and family."

Abington For Peace is asking attendees to bring a non-perishable item to donate to local food pantries that can be distributed to people in need.

The protest will be held on the sidewalk on Old York Road (in front of the parking lot by District Taco).
