PECO Work To Close Abington Road Overnight Last Week Of March
PennDOT said PECO crews will be working overnight on a portion of Old York Road in Abington the last week of March.
ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Old York Road in Abington will be closed overnight for the last week of March for PECO work, PennDOT said.
According to PennDOT, a section of Old York Road/Route 611 will be closed from Monday, March 27 through Friday, March 31.
The affected portion is between Moreland and Welsh roads.

Closures will be in place from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning.
During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Old Welsh Road, Edge Hill Road and Moreland Road.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
