PECO Work Closing Abington Road Later This Month

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A portion of Edge Hill Road in Abington Township will be closed for a week due to PECO work later this month, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, PECO utility work will affect traffic on Edge Hill Road Monday, March 20 through Friday, March 24.

Work will be done between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The work area is between Tyson and Edgecomb avenues.

Drivers advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
