PennDOT Work Impacting Abington-Area Traffic This Week
One road in Abington Township will be affected by work and one road leading to the township line will be affected as well, PennDOT said.
ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A lane on Township Line Road in Abington Township will be closed this week due to utility work, PennDOT said.
According to PennDOT, Township Line Road/Route 73 will have a lane closure between the Cheltenham Township line and the Philadelphia line in Cheltenham and Abington townships.
The closure will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Additionally, Oxford Avenue/Huntingdon Pike/Route 232 in to the Abington Township line will have a lane closure, PennDOT said.
The lane on Oxford Avenue/Huntingdon Pike/Route 232 will close between the Philadelphia County line and the Abington Township line in Rockledge Borough for utility work, PennDOT.

The closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Drivers should plan for extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur.
