Pipe Work Forcing Lane Closure On Abington Road Through Aug 31
PennDOT said storm pipe work will force a weekday lane closure on a busy Abington Township road through the end of the month.
ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Susquehanna Road in Abington Township will have a weekday lane closure through the end of the month due to storm pipe replacement work, PennDOT said.
According to PennDOT, work will begin on Monday.
The work will take place weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., forcing a lane closure.

The affected portion of road is between Westmont Avenue and Easton Road.
Work will last through Aug. 31, PennDOT said.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
