Poetry Slam Will Highlight Abington Elementary Talent
Original and recited poems will be performed by K-6 students.
McKinley Elementary School in Abington is running a Poetry Slam event this April in celebration of National Poetry month.
Students from kindergarten through 6th grade will read and perform their own work and the work of other poets.
The event will take place on two dates, April 23 and April 28, from 3:25 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
