Potential Scammers Selling Fake Abington Fire Co Merch, Officials Say

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Abington Fire Company is warning residents of potential scammers who are hawking bogus fire company merchandise.

According to the fire company, two accounts were posting online about Abington Fire Company merchandise for sale.

The items, such as sweatshirts, feature the fire company's logo patch.

Officials iterated that the fire company is not selling merchandise at the moment and would not sell merchandise through a third party that comments on the fire company's older social media posts.

"We have taken steps to remove these posts as well as block the accounts but wanted to ensure no one follows their link should another one be created / posted on our page," the fire company said.
