Proposed Car Dealership Seeking Variances In Abington Township

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A design company is looking to set up a car dealership on Old York Road, but is seeking variances to Abington Township's zoning ordinances to do so.

JJLH Associates LTD will present to the Abington Township Zoning Hearing Board on Wednesday, Nov. 29. The meeting is open to the public and attendance is possible both in-person and virtually.

The property in question is 900 Old York Road and is zoned in the Business Center Zoning District, Ward 7.

Eight variances are sought. They include variances for installing a sign that exceeds square footage, height, and property line distance limits; as well as the installation of a fence along the rear property line.

The hearing will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 29 in the second floor boardroom of the Abington Township Administration Building, 1176 Old York Road.
