PWAT Jenkintown to host Abington Health Foundation

Painting with a Twist, an art and social studio in Jenkintown will host a Painting with a Purpose charity event on September 22nd, 2015 to benefit the Abington Health Foundation Women’s Junior Auxiliary Board. The event will be held from 7pm-9pm in our Warhol Room and will cost $35 per person. To sign up, click here.

Each month, franchisees from across the nation hold monthly painting fundraisers through the Painting with a Purpose program to benefit local charities. For this event, 50% of the proceeds will be donated to the Abington Health Foundation. To date, Painting with a Twist studios have raised $1 million for local charities.

“We’re delighted to partner with the Women’s Junior Auxiliary Board to help raise funds and increase awareness for the Abington Health Foundation,” says Christine Trapaga, Co-Owner. “Community involvement is of utmost importance to us – we are thrilled to be helping a local group in need.”

The newly organized Junior Auxiliary was launched during the Spring of 2010. This group of young women affords members an opportunity to support Abington Health through fundraising and public outreach. In addition, Juniors get together for many fun social gatherings throughout the year. With the extremely successful Philly Fest under its belt, the Junior Auxiliary is looking to expand its own signature fundraising activities in support of the Nurses’ Scholarship Fund of the Abington Memorial Hospital Dixon School of Nursing, and hopes to welcome new members each year. The Auxiliary meets one evening each month from September through May, gathering at members’ homes. Please consider joining them at one of their next meetings or events!

In addition to supporting the local community, Painting with a Twist of Jenkintown also offers private parties for corporate outings, bachelorette parties, sorority functions, date nights and special events.
