A large new development in Wyndmoor will include a new restaurant, coffee house, and food market specializing in local produce.

A large new development in Wyndmoor will include a new restaurant, coffee house, and food market specializing in local produce, officials announced Monday.

The development at 909. E. Willow Grove will feature 8,000 square feet of retail on the ground floor of the complex, with 10 two-bedroom condos above it, according to MSC Retail.

"This development has come together with several new exciting concepts that are community-focused, family friendly, all coupled with new construction and accessible parking," Gabe Amzallag, leasing agent for MSC, said in a statement. "These unique attributes really enrich and differentiate this project in the Chestnut Hill neighborhood."

The new leasees include Enza, a new restaurant from Zavino Hospitality Group, owners of several Italian restaurants in the city. Enza includes "pizza, pasta, wine, and thoughtfully prepared vegetable options," MSC says.

There's also Captain Andy's Market, run by local resident Andrew Peszka. In addition to local produce, Captain Andy's will have fresh seafood, meat, and take home prepared foods.

The coffee house, Locals, is run by Wyndmoor residents Scott and Alana Davis. It features a bagel bar, breakfast sandwiches, specialty drinks, and lite-fare lunch.

A boutique fitness studio, Pure Barree, will also be moving in. All four spaces are set to open in Spring 2019.

More than 2,000 square feet of retail space remains available for leasing.
