Rockledge Borough To Begin Leaf Collection

Borough officials outlined routes for Rockledge residents on the days when leaf collections will take place. See the schedule below.

ROCKLEDGE BOROUGH, PA —The borough will soon be moving from leaf peeping to leaf sweeping.

The borough's public works department will begin full leaf collection starting next Monday.

Leaves need to be raked to the curb line each Monday morning by 7 a.m. on residents' scheduled route.

South Jarrett Avenue and Lynnewood Avenue will still need to bag their leaves on Tuesdays because leaf vac cannot fit on those streets.

Yard debris bag pickup will still continue every Tuesday morning. Saturdays will be used to catch up weather permitting, officials said.

Officials are asking residents to avoid grass clippings, branches, plants, or pumpkins.

Here is the borough's leaf collection schedule:

  • Oct. 28-31 —Route 1
  • Nov. 4-14 —Route 2
  • Nov. 18-21 —Route 1
  • Nov. 25-27 —Borough Parks
  • Dec. 2-5 —Route 2
  • Dec. 9-12 —Route 1
  • Dec. 16-19 —Route 2
  • Jan. 10-16 —Final sweep of the Borough
