Rockledge Borough Names New Police Chief
Oscar Horajeckyj was recently sworn in as the new chief of the Rockledge Borough Police Department.

ROCKLEDGE BOROUGH, PA —The borough has a new police chief.
Oscar Horajeckyj was recently sworn in as the new chief of the Rockledge Borough Police Department.
Horajeckyj —who officials said has decades of law enforcement experience and a deep dedication to Rockledge —brings a fresh vision to the department and community.

"His commitment to transparency, safety, and building strong community partnerships is setting an exciting new path forward. We’re lucky to have you leading the way, Chief," officials said.
At the end of September, the police department held a swearing-in ceremony for full-time Police Officer Matthew Morse.

Morse joined with several years of experience under his belt, bringing valuable skills and dedication to the police department.
"We’re thrilled to have him on board and can’t wait to see the positive impact he’ll make in our community," the police department said.
A big shoutout also was sent out to Police Officer Steve Grabov, who officially wrapped up his one-year probation period after working in the SEPTA Police Department.
"Officer Grabov’s dedication and experience have been invaluable, and his seamless transition into our team has shown his commitment to excellence," the department said.
The police department also recognized the milestone of Senior Patrol Officer Frank Weinberg, who marked over 25 years of service with the department.
"Thank you, Officer Weinberg, for your unwavering commitment to keeping our community safe. Your experience and dedication are invaluable," the department said.
