Roslyn Park Upgrades Showcased In Ceremony
Abington Township officials gathered to show off $225,000 in improvements from a community block grant.

ROSLYN, PA —Roslyn Park's transformation over the past 18 months is now complete.
Township officials gathered last week to showcase improvements at the park from a $225,000 Community Development Block Grant.
The ceremony last Wednesday included Commissioner Lori Schreiber, HUD Regional Administrator Matthew Heckles, and Dave Corrigan, director of Community Outreach for U.S. Congresswoman Madeleine Dean.

The block grant was used for the revitalization of the basketball court, playground equipment, and safety and accessibility improvements.
Following the ceremony highlighting the park improvements, kids enjoyed educational activities from the Abington Township Public Library and Penn State Abington, as well as a free lunch supported by the CDBG program.
