Rubicam Park Improvements Highlighted In Abington
Abington Township officials will hold a community event Wednesday to unveil upgrades funded by a state grant.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Residents are invited to attend a community event at Rubicam Park on Wednesday.
The event takes place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the park on Rubicam and Franklin Avenues in Willow Grove.
Abington Township officials will be recognizing park improvements funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, followed by educational activities from the Abington Township Public Library, and a free lunch for children up to age 18 supported by the CDBG program.

In other township business:
- US Sports Institute Basketball Camp begins on Aug. 12. The camp introduces a wide range of skills throughout the week including dribbling, passing, and shooting. Each day ends with small-sided games where the coaches encourage good sportsmanship and teamwork. Click here to register.
