ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —State Rep. Ben Sanchez has been re-elected to serve again as state representative in the 153rd Legislative District, according to unofficial results.

The Democratic incumbent defeated Republican challenger Joseph Rooney in Tuesday's general election.

Sanchez received 25,141 votes to 13,159 votes for Rooney.
