School Closures Reported In Eastern Montco
With the weekend storm, school districts in eastern Montgomery County will be closed on Monday.
EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — With this weekend's storm bringing heavy snow accumulations to the region, all schools in eastern Montgomery County will be closed on Monday.
While most will have a traditional snow day, others will have a remote learning day.
Here's the list of what school districts are planning for Monday:

- Abington School District — Abington School District schools and offices will be closed on Monday due to inclement weather.
- Cheltenham School District — The Cheltenham School District schools and offices will be closed. Monday will be a traditional snow day. All school buildings will be closed, and all activities are canceled. The administration is hopeful schools will return to normal operations as soon as possible.
- Hatboro-Horsham School District — The Hatboro-Horsham School District is closed on Monday. All after-school and evening events scheduled for Monday are canceled. The School Board meeting originally scheduled for Monday evening has been rescheduled to Tuesday. All 12-month district staff will work remotely. Essential employees, including maintenance and custodial personnel, will receive direction from their supervisors.
- Jenkintown School District — The Jenkintown School District will be closed on Monday. All district-sponsored activities, athletics, and events scheduled for Monday are canceled. There will be no in-person or virtual instruction on this day. As previously shared, this day will be made up on Tuesday, May 26. Only essential personnel will be permitted in district buildings.
- Upper Dublin School District — All Upper Dublin School District schools and offices will be closed on Monday. All after-school activities and events utilizing district facilities are also canceled. The Board of School Directors meeting scheduled for tomorrow at 7:00 PM will be held virtually.
