School Spirit Highlight Of Jenkintown 150th

JENKINTOWN, PA —School spirit is running high for the start of the new year in the Jenkintown School District, even more so than normal.

"This year, we are preparing to celebrate the 150th anniversary of The School District of Jenkintown," the school district said in a Facebook post. "This milestone is a testament to our rich history and the strong community we have built together. We are proud of our students, staff, and families for contributing to this legacy of excellence."

The school district is holding an online spirit wear store to celebrate the 150th anniversary.

The store is open now and will close promptly at 11:59 p.m. on Monday.

There are so many items to choose from, including hats, hoodies, T-shirts, and much more.

With three different logos, everyone should find something that represents the borough's school spirit.

Choose from the traditional ‘Split J’, with the new logo in either Red or Blue or the 150th design for the commemorative year.

All orders will be shipped directly to any address you provide, ensuring that you will have your gear in hand with plenty of time to wear it before and most importantly, at our 150th celebration on Friday, Oct. 25, at the Drakes football game.
