Sidewalk Restoration Project Begins In Abington Township

Crews are replacing old sidewalks and curbs with new wider sidewalks, replacing of disturbed steps and railings, and more on Old Welsh Road.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Sidewalk improvement work on Old Welsh Road is underway now in Abington Township.

Work on the Old Welsh Road Sidewalk Improvements Project will be done from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays for about four weeks.

The work is being done between Prospect and Park avenues.

Access may be limited at times, however, all effort will be made to alleviate any inconvenience during working hours.

All emergency vehicles, school buses, postal delivery, and refuse vehicles will have access.
