Snow Emergency Still In Effect In Abington
Abington Township has a snow emergency still in place following this weekend's snowstorm.
ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A snow emergency remains in effect as the township digs out from a winter storm that brought heavy snow accumulations to the region.
The Abington Township Police Department declared a Snow Emergency from noon on Saturday until noon on Tuesday.
Police said that plow operations are underway throughout the township. Anyone who does not need to be on the roads should stay off them so public works crews can work safely, police said.
