Melissa Husted-Sherman
Community Arts Gallery
Melissa Husted-Sherman’s work captures a fleeting moment of beauty, at the same time reflecting the inevitable process of change. Color and geometric shape capture the essence of a moment, while the process of layering paint and other materials creates a visual timeline for the work as old layers are covered over partially or completely. She has exhibited across PA and NJ since 2000.

The work of George Lorio asks us to consider our political and socioeconomic landscape in the 21st century. He often incorporates toys into his sculpture, forming them into a narrative of social concern, subtly highlighting topics such as gun control and ecology. Born and raised in New Orleans and having spent over 10 years in Texas have informed his view of the world and his vibrant style.
John Minkoff
Book Room Gallery
John Minkoff’s paintings focus on the everyday forms around us, such as storefronts or trucks- the containers of human life. Through his work, he shares his experience of the strangeness in things, finding a visual language for those things that cannot speak. John Minkoff has a Masters in Fine Arts from Indiana University, and is currently an adjunct instructor at two colleges in NJ.
Micah Danges
Tile Room Gallery
The inherently physical nature of Micah Danges’ photographs explores an area between image making and sculpture. His work is often a collage of images, highlighting objects of personal significance, travel, and the natural world, fitting them into the environment in which they’re shown. Danges has been a photography technician within the fine arts department at the University of Pennsylvania since 2007 and has also taught photography at the University of California at Berkeley.
