Storm Debris Collection Service Planned In Abington Twp.

Abington Township officials said collections of trees damaged in recent storms are planned for all of next week.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —With heavy damage from storms this week, township officials have announced plans for another debris collection day.

Officials said that due to the large amount of tree damage that occurred during the severe storm on Tuesday, Public Works will provide an additional storm debris collection service.

The service will begin Monday and run through Friday.

During this week, residents can place branches cut to lengths of 6 feet or less at the curb on their scheduled trash collection day.

Smaller debris such as leaves or twigs should be placed in circular trash cans or brown biodegradable bags.
