Support 'Sox In The City' In Roslyn For MLK Day

Sox in the City aims to collect socks for donation to adults and children as part of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service.

ROSYLN, PA — Community members in and around Abington Township are invited to help provide socks for residents in need.

Abington Township is hosting a two-week-long sock collection dive called "Sox in the City."

The collection drive will be open Monday, Jan. 16 through Tuesday, Jan. 31.

New, unopened packages of socks in any size and color are being sought for The Everywhere Project's Harm Reduction effort.

Socks can be dropped off at Living Word Church, 1250 Easton Road in Roslyn, or Salem Baptist Church, 2741 Woodland Road in Roslyn.
