Susquehanna Road Lane Closing Next Week In Abington

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Stormwater system replacement work will force lane closures on a busy Abington Township road next week, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, Susquehanna Road in Abington Township will have a lane closure Monday through Friday next week.

The closure will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The closure is between Colonial Avenue and Easton Road, PennDOT said.

This work is part of a $14.9 million project to improve stormwater management and facilities on more than 90 state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near or through the work area because backups and delays will occur.

The schedule is weather dependent.
