Tookany Creek Road Repairs Underway

CHELTENHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — Township officials said that emergency stabilization work will continue this week on the retaining wall adjacent to Tookany Creek in the area of High School Road.

The work includes repairs to address significant erosion and deterioration along the existing retaining wall.

Construction activities may require temporary lane restrictions and intermittent traffic control within the work area.

Township officials said residents should expect traffic delays on High School Road between Church Road and Montgomery Avenue.

Drivers are advised to use caution, allow for additional travel time, and follow all posted signs and directions from traffic-control personnel.
