Traffic Safe-T Program Underway In Abington
Abington Township Police are cracking down on dangerous drivers throughout the month of June.
ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Abington Township is cracking down on dangerous drivers for the month of June.
The police department has launched its Traffic Safe-T Program, which runs through June 30.
The community-wide initiative involves the Abington Township Board of Commissioners, the township Administration and participating citizens and neighborhood groups.

The program has two major components:
- Driver education
- Increased Traffic Enforcement
Residents may participate by placing signs notifying, motorists to slow down, on their lawn through June 30.
