Upkeep Work Planned On 2 Abington Roads Next Week

ABINGTON, PA — PennDOT's work to fix deteriorated roads across the region will continue next week in Abington.

Potholes and other road defects will be addressed on two roads in the township.

Crews are planning to address deterioration on Jenkintown and Fox Chase roads in Abington.

As crews work to fix these roads, travel lanes will be restricted, PennDOT said.

Drivers should be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews.

All activities are weather dependent.

Motorists are reminded to slow down in the work zone and refrain from distracted driving to keep themselves and workers safe.
