Valentine's Day Celebration at The Villages at Pine Valley Scheduled for Friday, February 13, from 10:00 - 2:00

The Villages at Pine Valley (TVPV), an active adult community affiliated with Holy Redeemer Health System, will host a Valentine-themed celebration for prospective residents on Friday, February 13, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at its Clubhouse facility, 8550 Verree Road, Philadelphia, 19111.

The festivities will offer an opportunity for guests to tour the community’s one- and two- bedroom apartment units and condominium offerings and various amenities that TVPV offers, including: fitness center, indoor heated pool, billiards, creative arts room, and access to the wooded walking trails of nearby Pennypack Park.

Following the tour, guests will be treated to an inspiring presentation on how to find love, joy and health in everyday life: “Twelve Steps to a Healthy Life: The Art of Living Well” offered by Maureen Wade, who is coordinating the event for Holy Redeemer.

“Many older adults today like to maintain an active, involved lifestyle – and that’s what our community tries to encourage,” Wade says. “We like to help our residents keep active, healthy and involved, and this presentation is really designed to help people find their own paths.”

Guests will also be treated to a catered lunch, have the chance to partake of a chocolate fountain and receive a take-home treat.
