WATCH: Abington Police K9 Cools Down With Some Rita's

ABINGTON, PA -- With the weather getting warmer, an unmistakable sign of spring appeared: water ice. But humans aren't the only species that enjoys this spring and summer treat.

Abington Police Department K9 Officer Bella is also partial to the cold and sweet treat. Her flavor of choice? Mango gelati.

In between serving and protecting the people of Abington, Bella enjoys playing tug, fetch, running, and relaxing in the sunshine. And water ice.

The following update was posted to K9 Bella's Facebook page on Sunday: "A Rita's treat on this beautiful Sunday .. That mango gelati hit the spot, Yummy!"
