York Road Closing Weekdays Through Mid September In Abington
PECO utility work will force lane closures in both directions on a portion of the road now through Feb, 17, PennDOT said.
ABINGTON, PA — A portion of York Road in Abington Township will have weekday lane closures for about two months due to PECO work, according to PennDOT.
PECO utility work will take place in both directions on Route 611 (York Road) between Rydal Way and Susquehanna Road.
Lanes will be closed weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday, Feb. 17.

Flaggers will be in place to assist with traffic.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
