$2M Powerball Ticket Sold In PA

One PA Lottery player matched all five balls Wednesday, and got the 2X Power Play to win a $2 million prize, according to powerball.com​.

PENNSYLVANIA — Check your tickets — a Pennsylvania lottery player cashed in on a $2 million slice of Wednesday's massive Powerball jackpot, according to Powerball.

Officials said the lucky Keystone State ticket was sold at a Walmart in DuBois, Clearfield County.

The winning numbers for Wednesday, July 19 were: 07, 10, 11, 13, and 24 with the Powerball number of 24. The Power Play was 2X.

One PA Lottery player matched all five balls and got the 2X Power Play to win a $2 million prize, according to powerball.com. And, players in Philadelphia, Lawrence, Clarion, and Delaware counties all sold tickets winning $100,000 prizes. The retailers will receive a bonus for selling the winners.

This is the second time this week that a Pennsylvania Powerball player won a major prize, as a $1 million ticket was sold for Monday's drawing at a store in Delaware County.

The estimated jackpot Wednesday was $1.08 billion. A California player from Los Angeles hit the big prize, lottery officials said.

This was the third-largest Powerball jackpot and the sixth-largest U.S. lottery jackpot ever won, said Powerball. The jackpot has a cash value of $558.1 million, or the winner may choose to get it in annual payments.

The winning Powerball numbers are drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern time, with Powerball results usually posted within 5 minutes. In Pennsylvania, the cut-off time for purchase of a ticket is 9:59 p.m. on the night of the drawing.

The largest Powerball jackpot in history was $2.04 billion, which was claimed by a single winner in California in November 2022.
