Weekend Soaker: Another Storm Set To Drench Eastern PA

Another rainstorm is on its way, bringing heavy winds, minor flooding and drenching rains to Pennsylvania.

PENNSYLVANIA — Following a week of rain, another storm is on its way towards Pennsylvania, bringing winds up to 45 mph, minor flooding and drenching rains.

Though things will be drier Thursday and Friday, another round of rain is expected Saturday into Saturday night, according to the National Weather Service.

Southeast Pennsylvania is expected to see half an inch to one inch of rainfall, forecasters say.

The amount of rain expected wouldn't normally be enough for flooding concerns, but forecasters say that the already wet ground increases potential for some minor flooding on rivers and streams.

Minor tidal flooding is also possible on the Atlantic coast, Delaware Bay and tidal Delaware River with high tide cycles on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the National Weather Service said.
