PA Highway Closed After Crash Spills Chicken Juice Over Road

DAUPHIN COUNTY, PA — A crash involving what investigators termed "chicken juice" shut down a highway in Pennsylvania Wednesday morning, according to police and multiple media reports.

The incident occurred sometime before 8 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 83 in Dauphin County.

Police said the crash occured between Exit 45: Paxton Street and Exit 46B: U.S. 322 East - Hershey.

At least four vehicles were involved in the crash, Fox reports.

One of the vehicles involved in a tractor-trailer that is spilling "chicken juice" on the highway, according to PennLive.

Vehicles are currently being detoured off the highway via Exit 44. The road remained closed at 10:30 a.m., PennDOT officials said.

It's not yet clear if there are any injuries.
