Two Fayette County residents are facing charges after the child was found living in "deplorable" conditions, state police said.

FAYETTE COUNTY, PA — Two Fayette County residents are facing several charges after state police said they kept a 6-year-old child zip-tied and locked in a dog crate.
Jacob William Weight, 37, and Mimi Ann Frost, 33, were arrested Tuesday and charged with assault, strangulation, child endangerment, corruption of minors and multiple other counts, Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release.
According to state police, authorities went to a home at 1313 Sheridan Ave. in Brownsville after receiving a call about an unresponsive child. When troopers arrived, authorities said they found the home in "deplorable" condition. Police said troopers also found dog feces, trash and urine throughout the house.
