Falling Knife Injures PA Girl Standing Under Roller Coaster: Reports
A witness claimed the girl was bleeding, and needed stitches after a utility knife fell from the roller coaster and hit her in the head.

LANCASTER COUNTY, PA — A girl was injured by a utility knife that fell from a roller coaster at a family amusement park in Lancaster County over the weekend, said officials.
Witnesses said the girl was standing in a common area near a roller coaster at Dutch Wonderland amusement park, according to a report from Lancaster Online. A utility knife fell from the coaster and hit her in the head, the report said.
Police gave few details, and said the preteen girl and her family left the park before officers arrived, per Lancaster Online. Officials have not confirmed if a customer brought the knife into the park — Dutch Wonderland's policies prohibit weapons of any kind, including items such as multi-took knives.

Someone claiming to have witnessed the event posted about it on the social media site Reddit, with the subject "PSA: Don't Bring Pocket Knives to Dutch Wonderland." The witness said the girl was bleeding, and needed stitches after the knife hit her in the head.
The blade was not out, said the witness, who said the knife fell from the wooden Kingdom Coaster (formerly the Sky Princess).
