Father, Son Drown While Fishing In PA Pond: Officials

The father and his three children were in a boat that capsized, said state police. Two of the children were able to swim to shore.

CLINTON COUNTY, PA — Officials said a father and one of his sons drowned Saturday evening, while fishing on a pond in Clinton County. Two other children were able to swim to shore after the boat capsized near Loganton, according to a report from PennLive.

The pond is located along West Valley Road in Logan Township, said the report.

State police said they were notified about the boat capsizing at 8:55 p.m. Saturday, the report said.

As of Monday afternoon, police have not released the identity of the father and son who died.
